It rained the first night it was up, not hard rain just rain. I was willing to deal with the height if the tent could prove itself to the elements. It was easy to set up, a perfect amount of floor space for my son and I, a little to short in the middle though for my stature at 5'5". got the tent from Amazon with lightning speed, love Amazon for that, set it up in my yard to test it out. I wanted something lightweight to hike with as well. This one seemed ideal, except for the fact that it was only 5' in the center. I was looking for a medium sized tent for my 5 y/o son and I to camp in that wouldn't take up a huge amount of space, and would be easy to set up. Very disappointed in this tent considering the reviews. Being of Irish background, I even like the green color-one of the 40 shades of green as the Irish say. This is not a family tent for people with kids, but if there are only 2 of you and you are used to small backpacking tents, this will be a palace and should be great for car camping in this frugal downsized world. All in all a good design with what appears to be quality construction at a reasonable price. There are 2 small gear pockets that can hang on side mesh strips where desired. There is a built in interior gear loft hanging across the top that can convert to hanging near the rear window. There should be no problem with condensation. In addition there are large mesh vents on the top for added ventilation.

The tent body has huge mesh windows on 3 sides and a large mesh zipped door. The tent seems fairly sturdy and should hold up well in wind due to the dome construction with two cross poles. It is more of a 2 person tent in the real world. Maybe 4 people could lie down in it, but there would be no room for any gear at all. Eureka calls it a 4 person tent, and I think that is too optimistic. I can lie down front to back with no problem. At 6' 1" I cannot stand up in this tent, but I didn't expect to and it doesn't bother me. I really detest sleeves in the main tent body, because the ferrules get caught on them when setting up. The fly has sleeves for the brim poles, but that is not important.

This tent is very easy to set up due to the all clip construction. The bathtub floor is nice, but there is a taped seam that runs right across the middle of it that hopefully won't leak. The instructions mention sealing the seams, but I think it is unnecessary, and I am not going to do it. The seams are all well sewed and the important ones are taped for rain. I have seen no evidence of shoddy construction. I feel that I am a good judge of tent quality since I have been tent camping for 40 years.

However I have set it up and examined it closely.

I am a little concerned about the negative reports of poor construction, but there are always some of those even with quality items. Later this summer I have trips planned to Yosemite, The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, and will do a follow-up for field performance later. This is a preliminary review as I haven't used this tent tent in the field yet.
